Hmmmmm….. what can we say about us? Those of you looking at this page probably know most of what you need to know about us. But, just in case, here are some of our important dates and pieces of trivia you may not know.

- Kelli’s birthday: August 4
- Our 1st date: April 23, 2003
- Date Dave proposed: June 11, 2005
- Wedding Date: July 1, 2006
- Found out we were pregnant: October 14, 2006
- Baby Boy Bacher due: June 19, 2007
Trivia
We originally met in Santa Cruz at a beach volleyball tournament in the summer of 2001 or 2002. Dave asked a mutual acquaintance about Kelli’s dating status, but the aquaintance mistakely said Kelli was taken. Delayed our relationship….
Luckily, we coincidentally ended up on the same indoor volleyball team in January 2003.
Dave proposed to Kelli after a candlelight dinner of pizza, salad and wine in our backyard gazebo.
As a bride, Kelli wore a modified version of her mom’s wedding gown.
We met a lot of the Survivor Crew on our honeymoon, including the artist who built the skull on Exile Island in the Panama season.
We planted a coconut on “Honeymoon Island,” so we can go back years from now to see our palm tree.
Both of our dads are scientists. One is a paleontologist, one is nuclear astro-physicist.
We each have one sibling of the opposite sex.
If it is a weekday evening, we can usually be found on our couch with our Apple laptops. In other words, we are both geeks.
We love traveling, wine, and weekends. Oh- and volleyball & food. AND most of all- our friends and family.
