Wow- I am getting BIG! It is harder to sleep now. I am often needing to shift from one side to the other about ever hour- which is a feat itself. I also have big cankles (calf/ ankles)… especially on the hotter days/ nights.
The Nursery is (basically) Ready! (by kelli)
We received the crib (from Dave’s Dad) and the dresser last week and put things together in the nursery this weekend. We also received the gorgeous nautical quilt that my mom’s friend made for us. We are so excited about how the nursery is coming together! Unfortunately the nursery doubles as an office, so the baby will need to get used to computer sounds. We still need to clear out a bit of the clutter, but below are some photos of our reality…
A Family Shower! (by kelli)
My parents hosted a shower for family and family friends to gather at their house on May 6. Dave’s dad flew all the way out here from Indiana to partake in the celebration. Despite the heat of the day, we relaxed outside in the shade and caught up with friends and family for an afternoon of fun! (And more showering of BBB!)
Another Nursery Update (by kelli)
Our comfy glider arrived in April! And we put some more wall decor up in the baby room. It is getting cozy! We should get our crib and dresser set up the next few weeks, so the room is becoming a true nursery.
