Mommy and Daddy invited Mommy’s parents over for dinner the night after they found out I was growing in Mommy’s tummy. After dinner, they handed a few little gifts over to Grandma and Grandpa, since they had a few little honeymoon momentos and they had recently received a small wedding photo album to give to them. The last little gift that Grandma and Grandpa opened was a very small silver picture frame that framed the words, “For Baby To Be.” Grandma and Grandpa were ecstatic… Grandma even cried. (I don’t think she was sad though – she was also jumping up and down and hugging everyone.)
Because Daddy’s father lives in Indiana, they called him up to share the great news with him. He was so excited, as this will be his first grandchild. Grandpa even mentioned something to Daddy at the wedding about having kids soon.

When Mommy and Daddy went to Fresno for Thanksgiving, they had a fun plan to tell Uncle Eric, Auntie Catherine, and cousins Camilla & Sonja. When they arrived at the house on Thanksgiving Mommy quickly snuck into the kitchen to hide something without the Fresno family noticing. When Uncle Eric opened the oven to adjust the rack for the turkey he pulled out a bun with a label on it. He looked at it and scratched his head in wonderment. Hmmm… the tag said “Due June 19, 2007”. Daddy blurted out, “There’s a bun in the oven!!” And the celebrating began.
When Auntie Catherine explained to Camilla that that meant that Auntie Kelli was pregnant, Camilla’s response was, “Already?!?!”
